Infinity X Infinity “Buzz”
2012 Off-The-Track Thoroughbred Gelding
“Buzz” is a lovely off-the-track Thoroughbred gelding that Mogie purchased from Benchmark Sport Horses. Buzz is coming along as a very nice amateur-friendly prospect for the sports of Eventing and Dressage. Buzz has the temperament and movement to be successful in any number of disciplines.
Out Foxed “Fox” was Mogie’s first horse that she purchased with her own saved money. $1,250 seemed like a fortune in those days! Fox literally knew nothing, but his good nature and average amount of talent brought the both of them many blue ribbons through the Preliminary level. Mogie sold Fox to Anne Krusgrill with Creekside Stables run by Kathie Robertson. This was the first horse that Mogie produced herself and then sold for a profit.
Endeavour “Devon” is an Off-the-Track Thoroughbred mare that Mogie produced through the Intermediate level. Devon was known for her ability to be a difficult ride, and while producing Devon Mogie enlisted the help and mentorship of Tom Dorrance, who opened up Mogie’s eyes to an additional way of working with horses. Making the right thing easy and the wrong thing difficult, and true patience are parts of Mogie’s everyday riding philosophy. Devon ended up being a very successful event mare and was retired at Judy Klus’s Full Circle Farm in Oregon. Devon produced many fine eventing offspring that carried on her beautiful movement and scope.
Dewar’s Profile “Sunny” was purchased as an Off-the-Track Thoroughbred that Mogie successfully produced through the Preliminary Level. He was sold to the esteemed Windfall Farm that specializes in Show Jumping. Show Jumping was such a comfortable fit for Sunny. He won many stakes classes and competed through 1.30m jumpers.
Derravarragh is an Irish Sport Horse gelding imported from Ireland. Mogie successfully competed him through the Two-Star level and earned 1st place in the CIC2* at Jackson Hole and finished 6th in the Galway CCI2* in 2004. He is now happily retired at his owners Tom and Alexa Seip’s Farm on the water in Maryland.
Select is a Belgian Warmblood Mare that Mogie imported from Ireland in 2004. Mogie produced and competed Select through the Three-Star level. Select began her eventing career as a six-year-old at Training level, and within a year and a half was competing at Fair Hill International. Select earned numerous wins at the Preliminary, Intermediate, and Advanced levels, and finished 11th in the Fair Hill International CCI3* in 2005. Select was selected as one of the foundation mares at Michael Pollard’s Chartworth Stud where she is now happily retired.
Mogie and Bally High began their partnership at the Preliminary level and earned numerous wins at the Intermediate level, including Intermediate Championships. Bally was also competed by Lauren Whitlock, one of Mogies students in Show Jumping. Mogie sold Bally to a young rider who competed the mare until she was in her 20’s. She is now happily retired.
